15/5/81: Zara Philips born

On Friday 15 May 1981 Zara Philips, second child and only daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Philips, was born at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington London.

Although Zara holds no royal title she is 16th in line to the throne. She has become a successful equestrian and married rugby player Mike Tindall in 2011. They have one daughter, born in 2014.
